School Annual Report (2018 - 19)
Our School 'The Good Shepherd Mission School'resumed its session from the month of April 2018.
The session started by issuance of the syllabus to each class. Along with the timetable which was to be followed throughout the year.
On 9th May 2018 - Our school celebrated RabindraJayanti with the students from Class - I to Class X. Students performed dance, drama, recitation and RabindraSangeet. Principal also delivered a speech on RabindraJayanti.
7th June 2018 Our school celebrated the School foundation Day through various programs by the students and teachers.
8th August 2018 - This date is notable in the calendar of our school for the success of one of our social mission, under the guidance of Help Age India. The Good Shepherd Mission School students donated 35,503/- to an Old age home at Chetla and also the students visited the old age home and performed different cultural program.
15th August 2018 - Independendance Day - Flag Hoisting parade by NCC students. Students performed dance of various satates. Drama also performed by students highlighting on the importance of secularism and democracy in India.
5thSpetember 2018 - Student celebrated Teacher's Day with various cultural activites.
17th September 2018 - Swach Bharat Abhiyan was enthusiastically implemented by the students teachers and staff of our school inside and outside the school campus. The expected result was noteworthy. We have made up a completely plastic free campus hence forth.
27th October 2018 - The Inter House football tournament was successfully conducted.
31st October 2018 - The School celebrated the birthday of SardarVallabhai Patel through a unity walk from Silpara to Thakurpukur. Teachers and students together took part and co-operated to make it a grand success.
November 5th 2018 - An educational Tour for students of standard 8 - 10 was conducted. It was a 6 day excursion to Madhya Pradesh and an extremely enriching one.
14th November 2018 Children's day was celebrated in the school campus marking the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Teachers took effort to present various programs front of the students.
16th November 2018 The students exhibited their science models, experiments and projects. Stalls also were set up where students displayed different handmade items, along with food items.
22nd December 2018 Annual Function The annual function is highly anticipated. After a month of rigorous practice the students put up a wonderful event.
20th January 2019 ON this day the Annual Sports was held, where all the students, teachers and guardians also participated in various event. On the same day inter-house Kho-Kho and Kabaddi was held.
26th January 2019 Republic Day was celebrated with the National Flag being hoisted with a Parade by the NCC students. A speech was delivered by the Principal on 'Unity on Diversity' and Women Empowerment. Many programs were set up in the mark of this Day.

Greetings to all Staff, guardians and well-wishers of the school
The School's academic year began on 12th April 2019.
The primary activity taken by us was to give quality education to all our students whether they are new or existing students, not only in academic but also in co-curricular and other areas for which the school has formed team among the teachers to check whether the students are engaged in some activity by which we have been able to allow the students to develop them for their future. For which the school has arranged parent teacher meeting at regular intervals.
As per board guidelines the school has taken several steps for all round development of the students and teachers as follows:-

By following the above mentioned activity the school has observed that student, teachers and guardians cordially showed their keen interest and also observed better performance by students in compared to earlier years.
